Daryl says:
Having seen the great cover that Clint Langley did, it occurred to me that I could build the world around Clint’s character on the cover of ‘The King’s Bastard’ to make it an integral component of the book trailer.
When I suggested this to Clint and Jonathan Oliver (Rowena’ s editor at Solaris) they were keen to see what I could come up with. Clint provided the figure on a layer for me and I constructed a 3D background. Then I hand animated the figure. I worked in Vue Infinite, Cinema 4D, Photoshop, Painter, After Effects, Premier Pro and the soundtrack was done in Cubase.
