Solaris sent me my author copies weeks ago, but I think the books must have been left on the docks in London, or maybe they’re taking the scenic route to Australia. Everyone but me seems to have copies.
First Pulp Fiction the Brisbane specialist bookstore sent me this photo to prove they had my book in stock.
Then Tehani Wesley sent me this photo to prove she had a copy and she’s in Western Australia!
Still waiting for my copies…
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
It looks stunning.
Thanks to Clint Langley. He did a brilliant job on the cover.
I was able to pick up a copy on Friday. It hit the shelves here on Tuesday, but I couldn’t make it to Barnes and Noble until later in the week. I was concerned they might not have it because inexplicably they didn’t have K.E. Mills’ (Karen Miller) latest book Wizard Undercover, and on the B&N website Besieged was only available as an e-book, but they had several copies in different places in the store (new paperback rack, the new science fiction/fantasy rack, and alphabetically by author in the sci-fi section with the KRK trilogy). It’s now at the top of my “to read” stack, and I’ll get to it when I finish the book I’m on…
So glad you persisted and found a copy. Thank you for your support, Darryl!
Look`s beautiful !
Squee! Can’t wait to read the story of the original Imoshen. Been waiting for months and then it creeps up on me. Have just emailed my bookstore to see if it’s in stock π Yay! Yay!
Thank you Cheryse!
I’ll do the same when your book is out. In fact, I’ll invite you to my blog for an interview.
Hopefully Solaris will see this post and do something about it π
They’ve already apologised for the delay, Richard. Not something they have any control over.
Did you find playing music helped you tap into her inner-creative cource?
Congrats Rowena π Bet its great to see all the work you’ve been putting in come to fruition.
Sean, to be frank it is terrifying. It’s like sending your childout into the big bad world. Are they really ready?
Exciting! I saw it in Minotaur (in Melbourne) yesterday. Can’t wait to read it.
Minotaur have it?
I still don’t have copies!
